About this auction software
What is this site?
This is a basic demonstration website for our auction software. We have worked in this sector for the past three years, first developing a bespoke system for a Brighton, UK, based machinery auction house, and since then developing our own auction platform. We have three clients using our own platform in the machinery sector and in the not for profit and charitable sectors.
Please feel free to register on this site and have a play with the system. We have provided an outline of the front end features along with a description of the admin features. If you are interested in talking to us further we can provide you with an online walk through of the admin features.
What does it do?
Essentially our auction software provides companies with the ability to create their own market for selling items. By creating their own market they are able to market goods for sale to a range of people on a global basis. We have been able to generate real return on investment for our clients. Once recent auction in the machinery sector generated a 15% return on investment for the client.
We are able to achieve these kinds of returns for clients because we have built this technology to be enterprise ready. Due to it's real time nature users are kept up to date with changes in bidding in real time. Whilst this means we have to handle a lot of web traffic we are able to do this without hindering the user experience.
As a result we have been able to run very busy auctions where bids are being placed every 5 seconds, on average, as the auction closes. Combining this with overtime bidding we are able to help our clients derive true market value for items as bidders compete to win the item for sale.
Sounds interesting, how can I get hold of it?
Well, in the first instance it would be good to chat to you and hopefully arrange a meeting or an online demonstration with you. Our clients operate in a global basis, and we are able to demonstrate the software on a global basis.
To enable you to run the auction at its optimum we tend to prefer to run the software as a managed service. This means we look after the technical stuff, such as getting the branding right, adding new features and customising the the software to match your business rules. This leaves you to run your business. Marketing and advertising the auction, talking to your clients and organising the sale.
We offer a range of commercial agreements. These provide a differing level of product depending upon your budget. We also offer an optional ongoing support agreement which enables you to develop your online business on an ongoing basis. You will also need to consider the hosting aswell. We can offer a dedicated server or a shared server option.
Anything else you would like know?
We would be very happy to hear from you and discuss any questions you have. We have extensive experience in the online auction sector and will be able to help you use auctioning as a profitable channel to market both strategically and technically.
